Massimo Soumaré

 

Born 1968 in Turin, Italy, Massimo Soumaré is a translator, fiction writer, editor, and Japanese teacher. He has contributed to magazines specializing in Eastern Asian cultures such as Quaderni Asiatici and A Oriente!. He has translated selected works of Japanese writers such as Osamu Dazai, Kenji Miyazawa, Jūza Unno, and Kyūsaku Yumeno. English translations of his short stories have appeared in such venues as Æther & Ichor, Unfading Daydream, and Unreal Magazine.
